SUMMARY:Orston Walkers
DESCRIPTION:A circular walk from Cropwell Bishop  going through Colston Bassett and by the ruined church – approx. 5.5 miles\nThe walk starts from Fern Road\, Cropwell Bishop\, by St Giles Church\, NG12 3BU. Fern Road is wide enough for roadside parking at this point. The walk includes sections of the old canal cycle path\, wide grassy tracks\, field paths and short sections of road\, mostly flat with a few gentle inclines. Conditions underfoot are pretty good at the moment and\, with the current forecast\, we should not have any problems.\nUsual meeting place –  0930 Orston Village Hall Car Park for car sharing.\nCropwell Bishop is about a 20 minute drive so please be at the walk start for 0950 if going direct.\nPost walk refreshment options include the new Cropwell Bishop Creamery cafe or a couple of pubs.
