DESCRIPTION:Blidworth Wood & Sansom Wood – 5.2  mile circular walk \n\n\n\nThe walk starts at Blidworth Wood car park (North)\, Blidworth Lane\, NG21 0NZ.\nAn undulating but easy circular walk of approx. 5.2 miles. Good conditions underfoot even in wet weather. Mainly pine trees in Blidworth Wood but Sansom Wood is quite different with a good mixture of pine and deciduous trees and we skirt a lake adjacent to Papplewick Pumping Station. Views across arable fields as you skirt the edges of the woods. \nAbout a third of the way round there is a very welcome coffee trailer in the main car park serving hot drinks and a breakfast type menu – N.B.cash only. \nFor those who fancy a drink/food afterwards the Fox & Hounds is only 2 minutes from the car park on Blidworth Lane.  \nIf meeting in Orston Village Hall Car Park\, please be ready to set off from there promptly at 09.30 (journey time approx 30 minutes). If going directly to the walk\, please be there by 10:00.
