Their key aims are to raise the levels of NHW awareness and activity in the village, particularly in helping the more vulnerable to protect themselves and their property and to feel safe in their homes. The team are keen to hear from you with ideas for keeping Orston clear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Neighbourhood Policing Team – Your Neighbourhood Watch coordinators have developed a good working relationship with the Bingham Neighbourhood Policing Team, particularly with PC Caroline Voce and Sgt Brett Price. We are also represented at the Local Area Group meetings with the police at which are discussed and agreed local policing priorities. This ensures our local concerns are heard and dealt with.

Frequently members of Neighbourhood Watch contact the Police requesting information about what they believe are scams designed to defraud people. There are literally hundreds of such scams both Internet and telephone based and all, if you fall victim, will take your money.
