Orston Walkers

Tuesday 6th August Wysall, Keyworth and Widmerpool.
Circular Walk – 6.5 miles. Jen and Bob leading.

A gently undulating walk starting in Wysall following well marked and established footpaths through arable and pasture land between the neighbouring villages. Splendid views over Keyworth Wolds and take a peek at how the other half live in beautiful Widmerpool. The Plough at Wysall will be open for a well deserved coffee or pint and food is served until 2.30 pm.

Trousers rather than shorts suggested as some of the headlands are rather lush with recent rain and a couple of short stretches with nettles. There are some stiles.

Start point Main Street Wysall. There is road-side parking on Main Street near the village hall opposite the church (postcode: NG12 5QS). Wysall is about a 25 minute drive from Orston. Meet 9.30am in Orston Village Hall Car Park, or if going direct be there for a 10am start.
