Orston Walkers

The walk will start from the junction of Casthorpe Road, Church Street and Main Street in Denton. There is plenty of roadside parking at that end of Main Street.
The walk is about 5.6 miles and will take us along the side of Denton Reservoir, field paths to Harlaxton Bridge (on the canal), along the towpath back to Casthorpe Bridge, then across field paths to the cycle track back to Denton.
If anyone wants a shorter walk, there are several alternatives including a 4.2 mile route returning via Denton Bridge or just a simple circuit round the reservoir.
Usual meeting place – 0930 Orston Village Hall Car Park. Denton is a 15-20 minute drive from Orston, so please be at the start point for 0945 if going direct.
