Blidworth Wood & Sansom Wood - 5.2  mile circular walk  The walk starts at Blidworth Wood car park (North), Blidworth Lane, NG21 0NZ. An undulating but easy circular walk of approx. 5.2 miles. Good conditions underfoot even in wet weather. Mainly pine trees in Blidworth Wood but Sansom Wood is quite different with a good mixture of pine and deciduous trees and we skirt a lake adjacent to Papplewick Pumping Station.
